Employers are legally required to perform “due diligence” and are directly accountable for the quality and type of training chosen.
Ofqual accredited courses automatically meet this due diligence requirement.

Benefits of Ofqual:

  1. Quality Assurance: Maintains and enhances qualification and assessment standards.
  2. Credibility: Lends credibility to qualifications, making them recognised and respected.
  3. Consistency: Aids in consistent grading, ensuring comparable value across providers.
  4. Transparency: Ensures clear, accessible criteria for achieving qualifications.
  5. Public Confidence: Boosts trust in the education system by regulating qualifications.

Ofqual, (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) regulates qualifications, exams, and assessments in England. Though specific to England, similar regulatory bodies exist in other regions to uphold education standards.
